Promoting your place

What promotion does

A promoted place is featured in the featured places carousel for its location and labelled as promoted.

Buy a promotion

1. Open your place › Promote (web: Manage › Places › place; app: Organizer › Places › place › Promote).
2. Choose a tier — durations from 24 hours to one month, price shown before you pay.
3. Pay with a card, mobile money or a saved method. Where the Abonten Rewards programme is live and you hold promotion credit (for example a venue rebate), checkout shows how much credit is applied.
4. The promotion starts when payment is confirmed and runs for its duration.

Rules

• Not refundable once started, except where Abonten failed to deliver.
• A listing that is restricted, hidden or removed cannot be promoted, and a promotion on a listing later removed is not refunded.
• Promotions do not change your reviews or rating.

Venue rebates (Abonten Rewards)

When the rewards programme is live, verified place owners may receive a small monthly rebate on cash ticket revenue from settled events held at their place, paid as promotion credit — see Rewards and Abonten Credit.
