Rewards and Abonten Credit
Availability. The Abonten Rewards programme is being trialled internally and is not yet available to the public. You may not see a Rewards page, and no credit is being granted to public accounts at the moment. This page describes how the programme works when it is switched on for you.
What Abonten Credit is
Abonten Credit is a promotional balance held in your Abonten account. It can be spent on Abonten — towards tickets or towards promoting an event or place, depending on the scope of each grant — but it is not money: it cannot be withdrawn, transferred to someone else, or exchanged outside Abonten. Grants can have an expiry date.
Ways credit can be earned
| Activity | How it works |

| Inviting friends | Share your invite link or code from the Rewards page. When a friend signs up as a new account within the first week of arriving, verifies their phone and buys their first ticket, they may receive a welcome credit and you a reward. |
| Sharing events | Share an event with your referral link. If someone buys a ticket through it, a share of that sale may be credited to you after the event takes place and the sale settles. |
| Loyalty | Regular ticket buyers may get the service fee on every fifth order (on different events) back as credit. |
| Organizers and venue owners | A monthly rebate on ticket sales for settled events, paid as promotion credit. |
| Promoting an organizer's event | Organizers may offer a commission to promoters, paid in credit. |
| Visiting places | Scanning a place's visit QR code (once per day, at the place) can count towards the owner's rewards. |
Rewards for referrals and sales are provisional until the event has happened and the sale has settled. They are reduced or cancelled if the sale is refunded, disputed or reversed. Abonten screens every reward for abuse (self-referral, duplicate accounts, shared devices or payment methods, unusual velocity); rewards flagged for review are decided by Abonten staff.
Spending credit
When you have spendable credit, checkout shows how much is applied and how much cash remains. Credit scoped to promotions can only be used for featuring, not tickets.
Your Rewards page
Web: side menu › Rewards. App: Account › Rewards. It shows your balance and its scopes, upcoming expiries, activity history, your invite link, loyalty progress, and the Email me when credit is ready switch.
Leaving Abonten
If you delete your account, any credit is forfeited and pending rewards are cancelled.
Something looks wrong
If a reward you expected is missing or a balance looks incorrect, contact support with the event or friend involved; staff can see the decision and its reason and can make adjustments where justified.
