For organizers

Finance, payouts and settlement

Web: side menu › Finances (Overview, Transactions, Payouts, Payout accounts). App: Account › Organizer › Finance, Payouts, Payout accounts, Withdraw.

What you earn

For every paid ticket you receive 100% of the ticket price you set. Abonten's service fee is charged to the buyer on top and never comes out of your price. Free tickets earn nothing.

Pending and available

BalanceMeaning
PendingEarnings from events that have not yet settled
AvailableEarnings you can request a payout for

An event settles 48 hours after it ends (after its last date for multi-date events). At that moment its earnings move from pending to available. Refunds reverse the matching earning; a promoter commission (if you offer one) is deducted when the related sale settles.

Your ledger

Transactions lists every entry: earnings per checkout, refund reversals, promoter commissions and their reversals, payout holds and completed payouts. Each entry links to the event and, where relevant, the buyer's transaction. Older sales made before Abonten changed to the customer-paid fee model show a historical 2% fee line; nothing newer does.

Payout accounts

Add one or more destinations under Payout accounts: mobile money (network and number) or bank (bank and account number), with the account holder's name. Mark one as default. Payout accounts are separate from the wallet you use to buy tickets.

Requesting a payout

  1. Go to Payouts (web) or Withdraw (app).
  2. Enter an amount up to your available balance and choose a payout account.
  3. Submit. The amount is placed on hold and a payout request is created with status processing.

Abonten's finance team pays out by bank or mobile-money transfer and marks the payout completed with a reference; you are notified. If a transfer fails the payout is marked failed and the money returns to your available balance. There is no payout fee at present.

Reviews and holds. A payout can be held for review when, for example, more than a fifth of an event's sales were paid with Abonten Credit, or when a buyer dispute is open on one of the event's payments. Finance staff clear or decline the review; you are notified either way.

Timing

Payout requests are processed by staff on working days; Abonten does not currently commit to a fixed turnaround. Contact support through the app if a payout has been processing for longer than you expect.

Rebates (Abonten Rewards)

When the rewards programme is live, organizers may receive a monthly rebate on cash ticket revenue from settled events, paid as promotion credit that can only be spent on featuring — not as cash. Rebates appear on your Rewards page, not on your Finances ledger.
